How often can I get a blow out from a Dominican shop?
I have completely natural, "kinky/nappy" hair, and I just took out my braids and got a blow out from a Dominican Hair salon. I am trying to avoid a relaxer (my hair doesn't do well with relaxers).
My issue is trying to figure out how often I can go get a blow out without my hair suffering from heat damage, split ends, etc. I would like to go every 2-3 weeks, so that i can wash/condition my hair then get it straightened.
If your hair is breaking before you are going to go...then don't go!!
If you have a good dominicana salon they will moisturize your hair before blowing it. I always insist on this. I even bring my own moisturizer sometimes b/c I don't want to risk damage. I limit my visits to no more than 2-3 times between relaxers.
