OK so my parents will NOT let me buy new cages for my crayfish and bull frog what do i do?
my crayfish is crammed in a bucket and my bull frog is in a 10 gallon and i only have 1 dollar
crayfish are not ment to be kept in cages but aquariums. and you cannot keep both together the crayfish will end up killing your frog and or fish's. it needs an airator and lid or it will surely die. if you found this crayfish in the wild i suggest releasing it. if you found the frog in the wild i suggest you realese it. bullfrogs down here in Honolulu Hawaii tend to get really big even for a 10 gallong tank. but i would advise you release the crayfish if you found it. it wont even last that long if not properly cared for. ive had some which were supposed to last long but died because of lack of air they lasted a week. some suicided and jumped out of tank and i could find them ( think my cats eventually eat them ) crayfish i guess aint a really good aquaic pet unless your going for the big ones you dont need to house alone too or else your fishes will die. what i would do is ask a friend to house it if he can for a while. usually my friends and i do this because we all raises fishes and no im not old only 17. or sell it to the pet store. local pet stores usually buy pet fishs and all but will give you little money.
