I need composting help!!?
I recently made my own bin, and added about 100 Canadian Nightcrawlers into it. I checked them two days later, and they were all dead.
I just read that Canadian Nightcrawlers are not good for composting, but you are supposed to get Red Wigglers.
What should I do about my bin that has all of these dead worms in it? I have a lot of fruits and veggies and newspaper scraps in it! I don't want them to go to waste.
Can I just add the red wigglers to the bin with the dead Nightcrawlers?
yes you can. nothing will effect it as good compost has many nitrates and ions in it which come from dead animal and plant material.
tip: keep turning your compost so it doesn't smell as bad.
