Some of my guppies got fin nipped by tiger barbs why?
my guppies are not adults or nether fry. they are just getting their color. and 2 of my that does not have color got nipped why??
*they do not bother the platies it met because they have the same coloration and some of them is gold colored. but now i can not find one of my orange and blackesh colored platy
Tiger barbs tend to be big fin nippers and they are somewhat aggressive.
One way that I heard that may help is to keep tiger barbs in bigger groups to keep them from nipping as much.
Otherwise, tiger barbs are not a good choice to be kept with fish with longer tails like guppies.
