What is the best Fishfinder/Gps Combo...?
I currently own a Lowrance X-91 and I purchased it 4 years ago for $400.oo. I have had nothing but problems with it. First time I sent it back they upgraded the software...it still would not find bottom. I sent it back and they sent me a new unit. It still did the same thing they sent me a new transducer...it worked for about 2 fishing trips...now the screen only comes half on...I phoned Lowrance and they do not service the units anymore and told me it would be cheaper to buy a new one. So...BESIDES Lowrance...is there a better fishfinder/GPS combination and a company that will stand behind it?
I like Lowrance GPS / Fish Finders. I have an X-135 and I've never had a problem with it.
My brother has an Eagle - SeaCharter 450 DF. It's a ton cheaper and he swears by it. So, if you want to save some money, I would suggest the Eagle. It is still made by Lowrance, though.
