Bargin's Recommendation: A Fly Fishing Lanyard

At first they will think you are nuts for getting them a "necklace".

However, I found that using a fishing lanyard works great

Fly fishing is my fishing weakness

I have since recommended lanyards to many who have replaced a vest with a lanyard setup.

Here is why: Fishing Vests can get very hot and given varying weather conditions is not always easy to slip a jacket under your vest. A properly setup lanyard has all the key stuff you need to head out fishing. In fact, I would recommend a lanyard for any type of fishing

Fishing lanyards have a bulldog clip at the bottom of the loop to attach to waders or your shirt to prevent unwanted movement or snags as you maneuver. There are several swivels with snap lock connectors used for attaching tools. Some tools will attach directly to the swivels while others it makes sense to use retractor clips that can extend up to a full 24 inches and have varying test strengths for manipulating the tools in action.
